Primary Zinc SHG (Special High Grade) and 'listed on the London Metal Exchange and the agreement provides a minimum purity of 99,995% in compliance with the specific BS EN 1179:2003 (grade C1). It is in the form of bread and the minimum lot size is 25 ton.
They are particularly used for casting. The name ZAMA comes from the alloy Zamak, a registered trademark of the New Jersey Zinc Company that produced in 1929, and is a German acronym of the alloying components: Zink, Aluminium, Magnesium and Kupfer (copper).
