PALLADIUM

palladio Palladium is a rare metal, resembling platinum, extracted mainly from certain minerals of copper and nickel. It has a white-gray, slightly darker than the platino.Il palladium does not oxidize in air and is highly permeable to hydrogen.

In nature there are also some of his rare minerals: the Potaro and stibiopalladinite. Palladium is also found as free metal or alloy with platinum, gold, rhodium, ruthenium, osmium and iridium. It is used as a catalyst in the electronics industry and to make jewelry (to make the alloys called "white gold").

Since 1987 the main world market is the London Platinum Palladium Market (LPPM) expressional and prices are in U.S. dollars/ounce.
