The primary nickel is in the sizes of cathodes whole, cut cathodes, briquettes, and spheres. The minimum is 6 ton (tolerance +/- 2%). On the market there are several quality of primary nickel, but 99.4% nickel (Ni+Co) is the most used in industry. There are different brands, sizes and minimum lots. The cutting cathodes are the most used, in the size of 100x100mm (4 "x4"), 50x50mm (2 "x2"), 25x25mm (1 "x1"). The primary nickel is always provided with certificates of chemical analysis.
