TRADING DOCUMENTS

Trading metals requires great attention to all the necessary documentation to the purchase and sale, bills of lading, letters of credit, certificates of origin, invoices, insurance policies, bid and performance bonds, etc..

Buying directly from the manufacturer, the material is always accompanied by separate weights and packages (weight and packing lists), with the detail of net weights, gross and tare, neck to neck. It is also accompanied by the certificate of chemical analysis, signed by the laboratory that certifies them.

Sometimes it is necessary to request the certificate of origin, generally issued by the Chamber of Commerce of the country from which the material.

The most important document is certainly the Bill of Lading (Bill of Lading - B/L) which summarizes some of the above information. Can be completed in 3 ways: with the client as beneficiary, with the shipper or recipient without any indication as to the recipient. And 'prepared in 3 original and 3 copies.
