From next January you can buy rare metals in Italy. Metals are scarce in the world but much used by high-tech industries, in medicine, metallurgy, green energy, military, etc. Because of the imbalance between supply and demand, the prices are growing and, in the coming decades, the Western economies will have to deal with the chronic shortage of these metals. Also called strategic metals, metals, green technology metals are present in all devices that have become part of our everyday life: IPAD, touch-screen LCD, batteries for hybrid cars, smart phones, medical devices, lighting devices, etc.
